Das ZaPF-Logo ist in der qualitativ hochwertigsten Version derzeit als vektorielle SVG-Datei verfügbar. Sie wurde mit der freien Software [http://inkscape.org/?lang=de Inkscape] erstellt. Die Farbe des Vordergrundes des Logos wurde für farbige Versionen auf das gedeckte Blau mit dem hexadezimalen Farbcode #0B2A51 festgelegt<ref>Sitzungsprotokoll der StAPF-Sitzung im Rahmen der ZaPF im Sommersemester 2010 in Frankfurt am Main: [[Datei:SoSe10 AK StAPF-Protokoll.pdf]]</ref> (TU-Dresden-blau). Wenn das Logo in Schwarz/Weiß gedruckt oder dargestellt wird, dann wird der Hintergrund des Logos in Schwarz gedruckt und der Vordergrund weiß<ref>Protokoll des Abschlussprenums im Rahmen der ZaPF im Sommersemester 2010 in Frankfurt am Main ([http://zapfev.de/sites/default/files/2010_SoSe_Frankfurt.pdf Reader] → "Bericht AK StAPF+Farbe Logo" auf S.88 unten)</ref>.<br />
